Important News

  • Located in the rear of the town garage is an area in which lawn clippings (not in plastic bags) and brush (shorter than 8 feet) may be deposited by Town of Kirkwood residents. This area is open 24/7 as long as this site is not abused.

  • Also located in the rear of the garage is a bin for metal waste only.  All refrigerators and freezers must have the doors removed.  The Town of Kirkwood does not accept paint cans, televisions, wood, mattresses or other household items.  These and all other materials must be discarded through your garbage service or at the Broome County Landfill.
